Housing Those who need it
Our mission is to help women and children in need of housing who have experienced some sort of setback. We desire to help them during transition to overcome issues, such as rejection, abandonment, self-esteem and damage to their emotions. We solicit strategic partnerships, collaboration and alliances that help them become self-reliant, responsible and productive citizens.
Restoration and Healing starts from the inside out.
We believe in taking a personalized and holistic approach.
The Unbound Outreach Home provides transitional and supportive housing dedicated to young women and children in Contra Costa County. This transitional housing program serves, women (ages 18 to 24) with children, find a safe haven and shelter; also connecting them with community resources that meet their holistic needs from the inside out.
We believe in taking a personalized approach which is why just six women are in the home at one time. Our home has single and shared rooms and there is common space shared by all residents.
Usually our women stay in the home anywhere from 6-24 months before they are ready to re-enter the world. Women of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic circumstances, and age group make up a diverse group in the house. All have one thing in common - they all need help.
To meet the distinctive needs of our clients, we partner with local community resources and collaborate with other organizations to expand our network of resources.
